CULTURE OF PRAYER AT CROYDON VINEYARD
Throughout the ages, Jesus’ church has prioritised and treasured prayer as a fundamental way that we connect with God and see His Kingdom come. Prayer sits at the heartbeat of almost every historical and recent global awakening. At Croydon Vineyard we want to build a culture of prayer and intercession all across the church that sees us increasingly become a church where:
the hand of the Lord is visibly upon us
many diverse people are united in worship of Jesus
the gospel of the Kingdom is powerfully preached
many people are coming to faith
dramatic transformation of lives is taking place
people are receiving prophetic words which show them the purpose & mission of their lives
the poor among us are valued, cared for and empowered for a better future
we raise up and send out leaders who grow the global Vineyard Movement and contribute to a lasting resurgence in the UK Church

We gather on Zoom at 7-7:30am every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for prayer. Whether you feel inexperienced or you fast & pray 25 hours a day, you are so welcome to join us. Check out the links below:

CONTENDING FOR AWAKENING
In January and September, we run a week of prayer where we contend for awakening in prayer and worship. In this week we pray as a church for ourselves, our community, South London and the nations to be awakened to the reality of Jesus and his power, love and grace. The best part is that you don’t need to be an expert. Whether you feel inexperienced or you fast & pray 25 hours a day, you are welcome and invited to play your part!

Saturday Prayer Gathering
To finish our week long Contending For Awakening event, we will have a prayer gathering outside the Old Palace Site (10am-11am). We will start altogether at the street entrance and then walk around the building and pray that the Lord gives it into our hands.
